Alongside our range of operational services, we are proud to offer training programmes to a diverse range of organisations. With over 30 years of experience, we’ve seen the challenges different organisations face, and the best ways of overcoming them. That’s why we don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach to our training, instead, we will take the time to understand what you need to achieve and we’ll create a bespoke training program to address all your needs. And you may be surprised by what we can offer, from accident investigation, first aid, to risk assessments.
Courses can be held at our Wickford Head office or delivered at your place of work (if suitable training area & facilities is available) to elevate staff having to travel or miss too much of the working day. There is no free parking on site but excellent public transport links as next to BR station, bus stop and Taxi rank.

Conflict Management Training
This certified course teaches techniques and appropriate body language to use to handle conflict in a calm and professional manner. Participants will acquire skills and knowledge to enable them to deal with situations when confrontation is inevitable. We will teach basic skills in restraining and removing difficult opponents in the quickest and safest manner possible. This practical training course will encourage participants to work alone and in groups of two or more.
Length of Course
1 day / 9 hours
Who can attend?
The Conflict Management course is available to all employers, employees, security, and security personnel.
Outcome of course
You will learn valuable skills, such as:
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Ability to manage situations better
- Basic control and restraint techniques
- Ability to implement effective locks and holds for simple removal of an aggressor

Fire Marshal Training
Our certified Fire Marshal training course is designed to incorporate all the primary theory and practical skills required to appropriately prevent the possibility of fire or at least greatly reduce it andhow to respond in the case of a fire.
Learning about the various types of fires is important as it is essential when choosing the right extinguisher in an emergency. In addition to this, all delegates will attain a better awareness of fire safety, fire prevention, evacuation procedures and fire drills.
Any of our training courses can be one to one or as groups (numbers of students are limited) held either with us in Wickford or at your place of work/business.
Length of Course
Half day / 4-5 hours
Course outcome
On completion the student will understand how to move, lift and handle relatively heavy items in a safe manner, avoiding injury or accidents.
Who can attend?
All employees responsible for evacuating any workplace or senior managers tasked to complete fire drills or emergency training at work

First Aid at Work Training
If you are an employee or employer working in a hazardous environment or just someone who would like to know first aid skills and competencies, we can offer you a comprehensive certified training course that is designed to give you many of the practical skills that you may need in an emergency situation.
We provide extensive teaching and instruction, so that you will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence required should an accident, injury or someone at work or home be taken ill or first Aid issue arise at any time.
Any of our training courses can be one to one or as groups (numbers of students are limited) held either with us in Wickford or at your place of work/business.

There are three courses available:
- Emergency first Aid at work – AED (one day course)
- First Aid at work (three-day course)
- First Aid at work Re- qualification/Refresher course (one day)

Health and Safety Training
This HSE certified Health and Safety training course is essential for the workplace, regardless of the nature of your business. This course covers the complete 1974 Health and Safety Act and revisions in 1999 and is tailor made to the specific business or operation.

1 day / 9 hours
Who can attend?
Available to all employers, employees, supervisors and managers.
Course content
- Management of health and safety at work
- Safe use of work equipment
- Workplace health, safety and welfare
- Personal protective equipment at work
- Working with display screen equipment
Course outcome
By attending this course, you will be conversant in all aspects of the health and safety rules and regulations which govern everyday business activities. This course is the absolute foundation of health and safety which every employer should know. This course can help you to avoid unnecessary accidents and claims.

Manual Handling Training
This HSE certified training course is essential for any individual involved in manual handling in the workplace. The course teaches skills and techniques required to move and store heavy loads safely whilst avoiding accidents.
Back injuries are the most common type of work-related illness in the UK and yet can be easily prevented. This course is essential for every employer to minimise the risks of accidents and injuries from manual handling in the workplace leading to potential claims.
The Manual Handling training course is available for individuals or groups to a maximum of 12 students.
Any of our training courses can be one to one or as groups (numbers of students are limited) held either with us in Wickford or at your place of work/business.
Length of Course
Half day / 4-5 hours
Who can attend?
Available to all employers and employees, any person likely to move, handle or lift heavy items during their employment.
Course outcome
On completion the student will understand how to move, lift and handle relatively heavy items in a safe manner, avoiding injury or accidents.

Risk Assessment Training
This certified training course in Risk Assessments for the Employer and Employee is a legal requirement for the employer under regulation 3 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Carrying out regular risk assessments not only validate the employee liability insurance but also maintain a safe and secure environment for your employees. This course will give you the skills to complete a basic risk assessment and understand the reason for them and their importance in the workplace.

Half day / 4-5 hours
Who can attend?
Available to all employers, employees, supervisors and managers.
Course outcome
- Understand and develop awareness of risks in the workplace
- Be able to risk assess
- Report and draw approved documents and plans to insurance level requirements
- Learn about ‘dynamic’ risk assessment to avoid dangerous situations and prevent a claim
