CHP is based in Chelmsford, Essex, and is a locally managed and governed charitable housing association. The organisation provides high-quality affordable homes to rent and buy.

Brief
We’re a growing housing association and we need to outsource the locking and unlocking of our commercial buildings and the responses to CCTV and intruder alarm activations.
We also need to work in partnership with a company who will provide ad hoc security services as and when required.
Action
VIP Security Services has been working with CHP for many years and has transformed their security services into a well-oiled machine.
Security personnel unlock all commercial buildings at the start of the day and lock-up on behalf of CHP at the close of play. To ensure peace of mind and for the health and safety of CHP’s staff, VIP Security Services has an experienced team of security guards on-hand to respond to any alarm activations.
Following the Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, CHP required a security fire warden to be stationed 24/7 at a 14-storey tower block, which houses 100 residents. Here VIP took on the brief, employed a team of staff, trained them to undertake the task in hand, and has continued to provide on-going security and fire checks for CHP and its residents.
