Statement from our Managing Director…
When I started my company “VIP” in the security industry back in 1989, I was met by an entirely different profession than that of today. There was no training, no regulations, no licensing and simply no professionalism for the front line security personnel and from those that provided security services.
When employed by various venues in London I saw the need for quality personnel. I knew the security industry needed to raise its standards and public perception. The image of the security sector had to be changed and improved dramatically. Thankfully, but some years later, the 2001 security act was introduced and the Security Industry Authority was to be born, controlling the licensing of ALL security personnel working in the industry and the operators who ran those companies, changing the face and image of the British security industry of today. During 2014 to ensure customer satisfaction and complete transparency, VIP implemented and was accredited with ISO 9001; 2008 quality management system, which ensures the complete management and quality.
In the year 2000 after 11 years in the security Industry I was looking to enhance and expand on my own personal development and decided to join the Metropolitan Police Service. Whilst “VIP” was being managed and still flourishing I was serving in various roles across London, as a Police officer.
The Police journey came to an end, as the company was now growing at a rapid rate needing more of my time. So at the end of 2012 I took the plunge to resign, having gained some excellent knowledge and expertise into protective security services. Since then “VIP” has gone from strength to strength and I have never looked back.
VIP has approved “safe” contractor status, we provide a service level that is transparent and fair, which gives my company approved status with trading standards “buy with confidence” scheme. This will guarantee professional, smart, reliable personnel to protect and manage your security requirements, throughout the United Kingdom.
My ethos is in providing value for money with attention to personal detail. We are devoted in recruiting excellent staff and the finest systems.
